Homemade Nutty Granola

Homemade nutty granola is a delicious breakfast, snack or dessert. It is hearty and filling and very nutritious. This can be stored up to 3 weeks in an airtight container. Let’s begin.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.


  • 3 C Old Fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 C seeds such as sunflower, chia or pumpkin
  • 1 C chopped Pecans
  • 1/2 C slivered Almonds
  • 1/2 C sweetened coconut (yo can omit if you do not like coconut)
  • 4 T Butter or Margerine
  • 1/3 C Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 C Honey

Mix together all dry ingredients into a separate bowl.

Mix together all wet ingredients along with butter into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Pour over dry mixture and spread out onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-20 minutes until lightly browned and toasted. Let cool and break apart. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
